Our library also uses Cassie, it is for managing our laptop loans to
patrons, and the printer module that comes with it. Patrons can send a
print job from one of the laptops and there is a tablet at reference that
we release the print jobs from. It's pretty simple, the only thing is to
make sure that patrons are aware of the black and white vs color print
settings before they print.
We also give patrons the option to email print jobs directly from their
phones to an email that is monitored by the reference desk. Then the
reference staff will print from the email when the patron comes to the desk
to pay. We started out printing when the emails were received, but then we
ended up with print jobs that weren't picked up.
The email option is used more frequently than Cassie, as most people can
email directly from their phones. It is pretty hassle free.

Best,
Wonda
