David,
Thanks for responding. I have been playing with Vega for some time and like
many of the features. Take a look at our Northport homepage. It has been
fun setting it up.

As a Beta tester, please share the following concerns we have over the Vega
interface.
1. The location of the item is too small. It needs to be bigger and more
obvious to patrons.
2. The search all libraries icon is missing. You can click on the empty
space next to your choice, and it works, but it has been gone for a few
days I believe.
3. Showcases do not work on mobile correctly. If you open a showcase on
the desktop, it displays fine. If you open it on a phone, it displays
another library location as the prominent choice over your own.
4. The literary form search does not work. You can limit to either
fiction or non-fiction, and you will still get fiction and non-fiction
together.
5. Subject searching should be added. I believe Vega is using Bibframe
instead of the MARC record for its data. I would love to see what it is
pulling from to better understand what Vega can and cannot do.
But the original question was about orders not showing up in Vega. I still
think this is a significant concern, pushes the problem onto the staff, who
will now have to explain, or find a significant, and probably time
consuming work around to fix the problem. I think system needs to be a lot
more vocal that this is something we need in order to give the best patron
service we can.
If anyone has questions on how I made elements for our Northport Vega page,
please let me know.
Thanks
Stephen
