Hi Stephen,

As beta testers for Vega, the PALS Technical Advisory Committee was aware
that order records for physical items currently display only in the
full-county catalog.
I understand that PALS has requested an enhancement to address this, but
you would need to confirm with them directly.

OverDrive records are displayed in all Vega catalogs. This means that if an
on-order title is linked to an OverDrive purchase, it will appear in the
library’s collection site.
This distinction stems from Vega’s integration with OverDrive, which is
designed as a full-county service that also reflects in local catalogs.

While some areas, like the handling of on-order records, are still in
development, the PALS Technical Advisory Committee feel the benefits of the
new catalog significantly outweigh these challenges.

Vega offers an intuitive user interface that allows patrons to seamlessly
search, reserve, and check out various electronic formats without leaving
the catalog.
These enhancements provide a more modern, user-friendly experience and
ensure the library is well-equipped to meet evolving patron needs.
