Dear Library Colleagues,

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. Attached is a list of
books/DVD's that has been compiled by our mental health services partners at
the Association for Mental Health and Wellness. The materials listed are for
patrons of all ages.

Please feel free to highlight these materials for the month of May and
beyond. Along with programs and events, that promote mental wellness, please
add these resources to programs focused on healthy eating, exercise and
mindfulness..and any other programs you may already be having during the
month of May.

Mental wellness programs can focus on all aspects of life, and do not
necessarily need to have ""mental health"" in the title of the program. It
is an overall concept that can be achieved in many ways.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss ideas for
National Mental Health Awareness Month.

Also, please join us for the May 14th Mental Health Resources Roundtable
that will be held at SCLS (10:00am to Noon). Please register on the Gateway.
