[eresources] Change to NOVEL-NY database, 8/31/2021

Dear Colleagues,

 

The New York State Library recently made a slight change to their NOVEL-NY
databases: the link to the "New York State Newspapers" collection has been
renamed "The New York Times."  Newspapers formerly contained in the "New
York State Newspapers" collection are searchable via "Gale OneFile: News."

We have chosen to remove the "New York State Newspapers/New York Times" link
from Livebrary.com since it duplicates other resources.  We have paid
subscriptions to The New York Times current and historical collections
through Proquest, both of which contain a deeper backfile of the newspaper.
We will continue to link to "Gale OneFile: News" via Livebrary.com.

The Livebrary eResources document has been updated on the Gateway.  Please
