In terms of construction waste - we had tons (literally) of old metal shelving that was being replaced or discarded during our construction project. We worked with a local recycling yard. They dropped off 30 yard dumpsters for free, and took the scrap metal to recycle. We filled three dumpsters worth!

Subject: [SLI-public] Sustainable Building Demolition
Hello,
An SLCP member has asked for resources or examples of sustainable demolition. They plan to demolish an existing building at one of their branch locations later this year and want to explore sustainability options before preparing their RFQ.
If anyone has experience with this or can share resources or examples, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best,
Alex
