[SCLA] DASL Executive Board

The Division of Academic and Special Libraries (DASL) is seeking interested candidates who are interested in serving on the 2027 DASL Executive Board!
Reasons to nominate yourself:

  *   Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across Suffolk County.
  *   Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or future career endeavors.
  *   No experience necessary—if you are elected, we will train you!

Available positions are as follows:

  *   Vice President/President Elect (3 years: VP, President, Past President)
Secretary (1 Year)
  *   Treasurer (1 year)
  *   Members-at-Large (1 year)

Terms run from January 2027 through December 2027, though training may take place in late 2026.
Interested parties should email their position of interest, a brief bio, and a professional-looking headshot to DASL President Bruce Seger at segerb at sunysuffolk.edu<mailto:segerb at sunysuffolk.edu> by Friday, June 12, 2026.
The only requirement to run is a current membership in SCLA.
