[SCLA] Join Us for the PLDA Scholarship Fundraiser

Join fellow SCLA members in supporting the next generation of library
professionals at the Public Library Directors Association of Suffolk
County’s Scholarship Fundraiser. This event will raise funds in support of
diversity, equity, and inclusion in the library profession while giving
colleagues a chance to gather, connect, and enjoy an evening out together.
The fundraiser will take place on *Friday, June 12, 2026*, from* 4:00 to
6:00 p.m.* at Painter’s Restaurant in Brookhaven
<https://www.paintersrestaurant.com/>. Tickets are $75 per person, with
discounted pricing available for pairs and groups of four, and include two
drinks and light bites. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are also
available.
