[SCLA] CATS Call for Nominations 2027

The Computer and Technical Services Division (CATS) is seeking interested
candidates who are interested in serving on the 2027 CATS Executive Board!

Reasons to nominate yourself:

   -

   Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across
   Suffolk County.
   -

   Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or future
   career endeavors.
   -

   Earn/Gain experience for upper-level management exams.
   -

   No experience necessary—if you are elected, we will train you!

Available positions are as follows:

   -

   Vice President/President Elect (3 years: VP, President, Past President)
   -

   Treasurer (1 year)
   -

   Members-at-Large (1 year)

Terms run from January 2027 through December 2027, though training may take
place in late 2026.

Interested parties should email their position of interest, a brief bio, and
a professional-looking headshot to CATS Vice President Dave Jones at
dave at westhamptonlibrary.org by Friday, June 12, 2026.

The only requirement to run is a current membership in SCLA.
