[SCLA] SSD Call for Nominations 2027!

*Support Staff Division (SSD) Call for Nominations*

The Support Staff Division (SSD) of the Suffolk County Library Association
is seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals interested in serving on the
2027 SSD Executive Board!

*Reasons to nominate yourself:*


   - Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across
   Suffolk County
   - Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or
   future career endeavors
   - Earn experience for upper-level management exams
   - No experience necessary. If you are elected, we will train you!

*Available positions are as follows:*


   - Vice President/President Elect/Past President (3 years)
   - Treasurer (1 year)
   - Secretary (1 year)

Terms run from January 2027 through December 2027, but training may take
place in late 2026.


Interested parties should email SSD President Alexis Camarda at
acamarda at brookhavenfreelibrary.org with a brief bio, a professional-looking
photo, and their position of interest by *Friday, June 12th.*

The only requirement to run is a current SCLA membership.
