Good afternoon,
We’re just 48 hours away from the 2026 Long Island Library Conference at
the Melville Marriott! There is still time to register online
<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2026-long-island-library-conference-tickets-1591879036049?aff=oddtdtcreator>
at the $195 day-of rate, but online registration closes tonight at
midnight. After that, attendees may register on-site at the conference on
Thursday morning, beginning at 8 a.m., using cash, credit card, or check.
In addition to our keynote speaker, Jamar Rahming, attendees can look
forward to sessions including:

incorporating monarch butterflies, chicks, fish, and more into engaging
programming

creativity and community learning in makerspaces

patron interactions into meaningful advocacy opportunities

Programs: *Supporting civic engagement and period equity initiatives

There will be raffles and giveaways throughout the day, and we also
encourage attendees to bring donations of toiletries and hygiene products
to support the important work of United Veterans Beacon House and the
individuals they serve.
We hope to see you there as we continue to “Empower, Engage, and Evolve.”
