[SCLA] 2026 World Cup Watch Experience - June 12 at Stony Brook University

In honor of the World Cup, Governor Hochul is hosting The New York State United 2026 World Cup Watch Experience<https://www.newyorkstateunited.com/>, which is a free, statewide initiative featuring large-scale, family-friendly community viewing events where fans can gather to watch live matches on giant outdoor screens, enjoy entertainment, and celebrate the world’s game together. Their first two events will take place on Friday, June 12, at Stony Brook University and will feature a performance by Third Eye Blind!

Reserve your ticket today!<https://www.newyorkstateunited.com/> In addition to the link above, attached flyer has a QR code that directs you to the ticketing website, which is available in both English and Spanish.

For anyone interested in group tickets, the process is simple: Please email Madison Geist (madisongeist at markham.co) with: the group name, the total number of tickets requested, a primary point of contact, and their email address. Once organizers receive that, they will provide a unique code and language you can share with your group. Members can use that code to register and receive tickets immediately, without a waiting period.

Nominate a coach to be recognized at the event! Help Governor Hochul's team identify soccer coaches in the region who have made a lasting impact across Long Island communities.
