[SCLA] The SCLA Scholarship Committee Is Seeking New Members!

Colleagues,

The Suffolk County Library Association Scholarship Committee is seeking new
members!  We're looking for volunteers to help us award our two yearly
scholarships; the Preparing New Librarians Scholarship and the Continuing
Education Scholarship for Library Support Staff.

Committee members will be responsible for reviewing applications after the
September 1st deadline, and selecting the applicants to be awarded at
SCLA's Annual Dinner in October.  Your committee membership will help
support new librarians and support staff in pursuing their education.

If you're interested in joining the committee, please email *Rachel

1st.  Please note that committee members cannot be references for
scholarship applicants.
