[SCLA] 🗳️🎉SCLA Call for Executive Board Nominations 2026!☑️📚

The Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA) is seeking enthusiastic and
driven individuals who are interested in serving on the 2026 SCLA Executive
Board!

*Reasons to nominate yourself:*


   - Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across
   Suffolk County
   - Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or
   future career endeavors
   - Earn experience for upper level management exams
   - No experience necessary. If you are elected, we will train you!


*Available positions are as follows:*


   - Vice President/President Elect (3 years, VP/President/Past President)
   - Secretary (1 year)
   - Treasurer (2 years)
   - Member-at-Large: Networking (2 years)
   - Member-at-Large: Continuing Education (2 years)


Terms run from January 2026 to the end of December 2026, but training may
take place in late 2025. Interested parties should email SCLA VP Bob
Johnson - bob at emmaclark.org with a brief bio, professional-looking
headshot, and position you would like to nominate yourself for by *Monday,
June 2nd.*

**Being a member of SCLA is the only requirement. *
