[SCLA] CATS Call for Nominations

The Computer and Technical Services Division (CATS) is seeking enthusiastic
and driven individuals who are interested in serving on the 2026 CATS
Executive Board!

*Reasons to nominate yourself:*

   - Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across
   Suffolk County
   - Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or
   future career endeavors
   - Earn experience for upper-level management exams
   - No experience necessary. If you are elected, we will train you!

*Available positions are as follows:*

   - Vice President/President Elect (3 years, VP/President/Past President)
   - Treasurer (1 year)
   - Members-at-Large (1 year)

Terms run from December 2025 to December 2026. Interested parties should *email
*a brief bio, professional-looking headshot, and the position you would
like to nominate yourself for to *CATS president, Steve Alcalde, at
steven at myrml.org <steven at myrml.org>* by *Monday, June 2*.

*The only requirement is current membership in SCLA.*
