[SCLA] SCLA Call for Executive Board Nominations 2026!

The Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA) is seeking enthusiastic and
driven individuals who are interested in serving on the 2026 SCLA Executive
Board!

*Reasons to nominate yourself:*


   - Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across
   Suffolk County
   - Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or
   future career endeavors
   - Earn experience for upper level management exams
   - No experience necessary. If you are elected, we will train you!


*Available positions are as follows:*


   - Vice President/President Elect (3 years, VP/President/Past President)
   - Secretary (1 year)
   - Treasurer (2 years)
   - Member-at-Large: Networking (2 years)
   - Member-at-Large: Continuing Education (2 years)


Terms run from January 2026 to the end of December 2026. Interested parties
should email SCLA VP Bob Johnson - bob at emmaclark.org with a brief bio,
professional-looking headshot, and position you would like to nominate yourself
for by Friday, May 23rd.
