[SCLA] SCLA's Letters to Suffolk County Congressmen

Yesterday, the SCLA Executive Board voted to approve the statement that was
sent out yesterday and letters, which were mailed today, to the three
congressmen whose districts cover Suffolk County. Attached to this email,
you will find a copy of yesterday's statement and a letter to the following
congressmen: Nick LaLota, Andrew Garbarino, and Tom Suozzi.

You are welcome to share it with your staff, colleagues, friends, and
family. We ask you to encourage everyone to fill out the various petitions
and Library Advocate forms that are linked in the statement.

you are part of SCLA and remind them that you vote for libraries and our
communities. Inform your friends and families about the dangers of cutting
IMLS funding and how it hurts communities and encourage them to contact
