Dear Library Colleagues,
Please register on the Gateway for these upcoming Outreach Services programs/meetings in March and April.
Please note, that all library staff is welcome to participate, as the information sharerd is valuable to patrons of all ages.
• March 21st – Public Libraries and Community Partners
(Virtual) This meeting brings together representatives from a wide variety of community organizations and county agencies, and staff from the public libraries in Suffolk County, to share information about their programs and services.
10:00am to Noon
• March 28th – Mental Health Lunch & Learn
This is the first of several L&L presentations for 2025. This L&L will focus on the programs and services offered through the Association for Mental Health and Wellness. Jasmine Lucas and her colleagues will provide in-depth information on their many resources for patrons of all ages.
11:00am to 11;30am
• April 16th – Dementia Resources Roundtable
(In-Person at SCLS) This meeting will highlight the resources of several organizations that provide programming and services for people living with memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.
