Dear Colleagues,

The SCLA Scholarship Committee is seeking new members!

The SCLA Scholarship Committee is looking for volunteers to help us award our two yearly academic scholarships: Preparing New Librarians, and the Continuing Education Scholarship for Library Support Staff.

Committee members will be responsible for reviewing applications after the September 1 deadline, and selecting the applicants to be awarded at SCLA's annual dinner. Your committee membership will help support new librarians, as well as support staff looking to further their education.

If you're interested in joining the committee, please email Rebecca Goldstein, current Scholarship Committee Chair, at rebecca.goldstein at sachemlibrary.org. Please note that committee members cannot be references for scholarship applicants.
