[SCLA] 2025 SCLA Scholarships Clarification

Dear Colleagues,

Attached, please find information for the 2025 SCLA Scholarships and the below clarification.

SCLA offers two yearly scholarships:

  *
The Continuing Education Scholarship, for library support staff pursuing academic or career-related coursework. That application can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1BCZpxnNp0vk8OhTFVzSJ3PGCnUZ_Da50NIUH9wQD54U/
  *
The Preparing New Librarians scholarship for students currently enrolled in an MLS program. That application can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1TRkBOMiX8d9m98DAhtqlD0g55NypBvfUdqptG-b2zTs/

The deadline for both applications is midnight on September 1, 2025. Three references are required for each applicant. Both awards will be presented at the annual dinner in the Fall.

Please note that only library support staff are eligible to receive the Continuing Education for Library Support Staff scholarship. Applications received by MLS students or those already holding an MLS degree will not be considered.
