Dear Library Colleagues,
Join us next week for the following Outreach Services programs/meetings. All library staff are welcome to participate. Please register on the Gateway.
Please share with your library colleagues.
• Suffolk County Gang Intelligence & Human Trafficking Units – Presentation and Q&A on how libraries can communicate with the Sherriff’s Office, share concerns about gang activity and human trafficking and develop programming that can assist residents in their communities. This program is geared to library administrators, security and safety staff.
January 27th – 10:00am to Noon (In-Person at SCLS)
• Mental Health Resources Roundtable – Several mental health services organizations/agencies will be joining us to share information about their programs and services, and will be looking for opportunities to work with libraries to share information with Suffolk County residents. This is a networking meeting, not a tabling event.
January 28th – 10:00am to Noon (In-Person at SCLS)
We look forward your participation.

Please note: As the Outreach Administrator for the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, I feel it is important to share information with library staff that will be of value to public libraries and the patrons in their community. The forwarding/sharing of the information that has not originated from me, does not imply endorsement or support of a particular company/organization/service. 😊 If you will be joining us at SCLS for a program or meeting, please let us know in advance if you will need an accommodation that will make the event accessible to you.
