[SCLA] Register Today For The 2026 Long Island Library Conference

Registration for the 2026 Long Island Library Conference is now open. Join
us at the Melville Marriott on Thursday, May 14, 2026, as we welcome Jamar
Rahming as the keynote speaker. Rahming is the Chief Executive Officer of
the Cuyahoga County Public Library and president-elect of the Public
Library Association. With more than 20 years of library leadership
experience, he is nationally recognized for innovative, community-centered
initiatives and award-winning library service. He previously led the
Wilmington Institute Free Library and has received multiple national
honors, including Library Journal’s Movers & Shakers and the ALA’s I Love
My Library Award.


Registrations will once again be processed through Eventbrite using the
link on the Conference website
<https://libconference.org/registration/attendee/>. Please review the
following registration policies and procedures:


Rates:


NCLA/SCLA Members: $85

Non-Members: $110

Students: $50

Day-Of: $195


Payment can be made by check, invoice, credit card, PayPal, or Google Pay
through March 31, 2026. You cannot register and select payment by check or
invoice after this date. Payment can be made by credit card, PayPal, or
Google Pay until April 30, 2026.


We encourage you to become an individual member of SCLA or NCLA to receive
the Member Rate. When registering, you will need your individual membership
number. Institutional memberships do not qualify for the Member Rate.
