I’d like to invite library staff to attend Literacy Suffolk’s Annual Volunteer Recognition event. Guests will enjoy a complimentary breakfast, learn more about the impactful work of Literacy Suffolk, and celebrate the incredible volunteers who make it all possible.

Literacy Suffolk is the only county-wide program offering English language tutoring for adults at every library in Suffolk County. Each week, hundreds of tutors and students—many of whom were recruited through our libraries—meet in our spaces.  This event is a chance for us to come together and celebrate a wonderful organization that is truly changing lives. Let’s recognize the tutors—our very own patrons—who generously give their time each week to strengthen our community.
