TEMPORARY LEAVE REPLACEMENT

CHILDREN’S LIBRARIAN /TRAINEE

The South Country Library is looking for a children’s librarian or
children’s librarian trainee to work with our cooperative, creative,
community-oriented Children’s Department team. It is a temporary position
to ensure coverage during an employee’s extended leave.







The position is for one 5:00-9:00 pm shift per week and the first, second
and third Saturdays of each month.

Responsibilities include active reference service to a diverse community
and minor projects. Candidate will be working directly with children birth
through 5th grade.


Salary is $29.68 per hour  *Librarian trainee may also be considered at
$25.83 per hour.
