[SCLA] YASD Call for Nominations

The Young Adult Services Division (YASD) is seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals who are interested in serving on the 2025 YASD Executive Board!

Reasons to nominate yourself:

  *   Connect and build relationships with library professionals from across Suffolk County
  *   Develop hard and soft skills that you will use in your current or future career endeavors
  *   Earn experience for upper level management exams
  *   No experience necessary. If you are elected, we will train you!

Available positions are as follows:

  *   Vice President/President Elect (3 years, VP/President/Past President)
  *   Secretary (1 year)
  *   Treasurer (1 year)
  *
Member-at-Large: Fran Romer (2 years)
  *
Member-at-Large: Webmaster (1 year)

Terms run from December 2024 to December 2025. Interested parties should email YASD president Ashley Sabatino at ashley at longwoodlibrary.org<mailto:ashley at longwoodlibrary.org> a brief bio, professional-looking headshot, and position you would like to nominate yourself for by Friday, May 24.

The only requirement is current membership in SCLA.
