>From the past queer coding of Lobel’s *Frog and Toad* to current books
about trans children, representation of LGBTQIA+ characters in picture
books have grown over the years.

Join representatives of the Long Island Library Pride Alliance (LILPA), a
bi-county, Long Island Library Association Committee, as they explore and
share past and present portrayals of the LGBTQIA+ community in picture
books.
