The August 28th program will be of particular interest to children and young adult library staff. (Virtual)

All library staff, including custodial and security staff, are encouraged to participate in the August 29th Emergency Preparedness meeting. (In-person at SCLS)

Vocational/Employment Resources for People with Disabilities

Virtual - via Zoom

Monday, August 28th | 11:00am - 12:00pm

This program will highlight the vocational rehabilitation services available through ACCES-VR (Adult Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation). The agency’s primary goal is to assist individuals with disabilities to achieve and maintain employment and to support independent living through training, education, rehabilitation and career development. This presentation will be followed by a presentation from the Suffolk Independent Living Organization (SILO), highlighting their Peer Support Services for people with disabilities.

Public Libraries and Community Emergency Preparedness
