[SCLA] Support Taking Action Against Censorship

Good morning!
The Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA) has been serving librarians, staff, and trustees of Suffolk County libraries since 1939. Our membership consists of library staff from across Suffolk County, including academic, special, and public Libraries. SCLA is committed to intellectual freedom and the freedom to read. This includes a firm opposition to the restriction, removal, or censorship of books, materials, and displays. We support library users from all backgrounds and communities. We believe that libraries are a place for all to feel welcome and supported.

PLDA and SCLA are proud to launch a website designed to give people clear information about censorship and point them in the direction of resources which will allow them to take action with respect to this important issue.
