[eresources] ALLDATA Remote Access Issue

Dear Colleagues,

For those of you that are ALLDATA subscribers...you may have noticed that the remote access credentials that we have been issued for the database are no longer valid.  Unfortunately, ALLDATA has advised me that those credentials have been sold on social media, resulting in fraudulent use/access of the database.  We were not the only ones affected -- they found similar issues with other systems/libraries that were also issued remote access credentials.

I am currently working with ALLDATA to see if I can proxy the link so that patrons can use their Sierra usernames and passwords; if we can't make that work, they did give me new remote access credentials that I can issue everyone (with some restrictions).

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I will be in touch again as soon as we figure out how to provide remote access.  For the time being, you should still have access within your buildings to ALLDATA.
