[eresources] 2020 Ancestry Library Coordinated Order

Dear Colleagues:

 

It's time to renew our coordinated order for Ancestry Library Edition
(Proquest).  The subscription term runs from August 1, 2020-July 31, 2021.  

 

The county-wide subscription will renew at $36,209.39; each library's
renewal cost will be $710.  The final cost for this subscription will depend
on how many libraries opt to renew their subscriptions to the database (last
year 51 libraries renewed).  

 

A note about access: Ancestry generally only permits usage of the site
within the subscribing library; however, they have granted subscribers
temporary remote access due to the pandemic.  This temporary remote access
is being re-evaluated monthly and can be revoked at any time by Ancestry.  

 

Renewals, cancellations, and new subscription requests should be submitted
via  <https://portal.suffolklibrarysystem.org/node/26261>
https://portal.suffolklibrarysystem.org/node/26261 by Monday, July 1, 2020.
